Ultimate Warfare is a free, open source hobby project by Frank Schreuder, part of FrankProjects. We store as little personal data as possible and never share or sell it. Questions or requests: use the contact form.

What we store and why

• Account: username, email address and password (hashed), needed to give you access to the game. Kept until you delete your account; accounts that never verified their email address are deleted after 30 days.
• IP addresses: which IP address you play from and when, to detect cheating with multiple accounts, in the interest of fair play for all players. Kept for 3 months.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message, to answer you. Deleted once handled.

The sign-up and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots, which receives your IP address. The only cookie is a session cookie that keeps you logged in; there is no tracking or analytics.

Your rights

• Download your account data and IP history under Account Info in your profile.
• Delete your account under Danger Zone in your profile. This removes your account, your empires and your IP history; your forum posts stay, without your name. Banned accounts can't be deleted while banned.

• You can file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
